Erhürman wants a result-oriented 5+1 before New York

Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) President Tufan Erhürman will meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UN Cyprus Personal Representative Maria Angela Holguin in New York on September 23. New regulations come into force in TRNC for sunken ship victims

Death toll rises to 15 in vessel sunk off Kyrenia, 13 still sought

TRNC eases route permit requirement for Turkish-flagged vessels

According to a report by Evrensel, the TRNC Council of Ministers amended port regulations; the requirement for company registration in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC) will not be sought until year-end for temporary route permits granted to Turkish-flagged vessels. The regulation came 18 days after what the paper called the "Filo Jet disaster."

Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility built with Türkiye's financing opens in TRNC

The 15,000-ton capacity Güzelyurt Cold Storage Facility, established with financing from Türkiye and contributions from TOBB, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC). New Atatürk Stadium and sports complex project unveiled in Nicosia

At the presentation in the Republic Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (KKTC), Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz described the project as a "hallmark project"; the complex will be built across an area of approximately 56,000 square meters with an 8,000-person capacity. TRNC table tennis federation becomes observer member of Balkan union

Death toll rises to 15 in ship sinking off Girne, detentions extended in investigation

15 Turkish Cypriots found in mass grave in Atlılar buried 52 years later

Fifteen identified Turkish Cypriots killed and placed in a mass grave in the village of Atlılar on August 14, 1974, were buried in a state ceremony, including two infants aged 40 days and 16 months. Cevdet Yılmaz, Tufan Erhürman and Ünal Üstel attended the ceremony.
