According to MAİB, machinery exports in the January-August period reached 18.8 billion dollars with a 1% increase. The highest sales were to Germany, while exports to the US increased by 29.4%.
Despite a drop of 6.8% in quantity, the rise in unit prices drove exports upward. Germany ranked first with 2.2 billion dollars, while sales to the US increased by 29.4%. MAİB President Sevda Kayhan Yılmaz drew attention to the importance of efficiency and green transformation in global competition.
