KGM met with French Egis in Ankara for the 30-year operating right of bridges and motorways. YENİ Party Zonguldak deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz argued that the Istanbul-Edirne European Motorway toll could rise from 168 liras to 780 liras with a 360 percent increase.

Egis operates services on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge and the Eurasia Tunnel in Türkiye. The ownership of the bridges and highways under privatization will not be transferred; the operating right will be transferred until December 31, 2031.
