In an operation targeting AcnTürk Sigorta A.Ş. in 15 provinces coordinated by the İstanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 23 suspects were detained. The prosecutor's office stated that the establishment capital was misleadingly used to obtain a license from SEDDK and 130 million lira was embezzled.
The operation was carried out in 15 provinces centered on Istanbul. Of the 24 suspects for whom detention warrants were issued, 23 were apprehended. The investigation rests on allegations that the company misrepresented its initial capital as 94 million liras instead of 14 million and embezzled 130 million liras.
