Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the MIKTA meeting on the margins of the UN General Assembly. The ministers of Türkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and affirmed Riyadh's right to self-defense.
The joint statement expressed deep concern over the conflicts in the region and stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are the only lasting solution. The ministers also voiced support for the Yemeni government's efforts toward stability and peace.
