Under a Trade Ministry regulation, the Secure Payment System, in which purchase funds are blocked until title deed transfer in real estate transactions, will begin on October 1, 2026.
The system will block the payment amount and transfer it to the seller after the title deed transaction. The start was postponed from July 1 to the end of September. Thus, it aims to reduce risks for buyers and sellers.
