MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız called the rule preventing an anonymous witness testimony alone from forming a verdict "a great gain for our legal system," saying this method should be avoided unless necessary and defendants should have the right to question witnesses orally.
Yıldız also proposed a new approach in evaluating evidence as well as suspect and defendant statements, which are seen as a means of defense and proof. In his statement on his social media account, he stated that the evidentiary power of evidence alone is limited, but those pointing to meaningful results can be taken as a basis for a verdict.
