İBB to tender 250 app-based taxi rights on 13 October

According to an announcement in the Official Gazette, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) will tender 250 app-based taxi operating rights individually; the estimated price for each right is 6,376,000 lira (TL) plus VAT, with a 29-year license period. Only natural persons can participate, and bids will be submitted by 12 October.

Participants must reside in Istanbul, hold at least a Class B driver's license, and be between the ages of 22 and 69. Each person may bid for only one transportation right. The temporary guarantee amount was set at 191,280 lira.
