Denizkurdu-I/2026 exercise on September 20–25: 100 ships, 14,000 personnel

The Defence Ministry (MSB) announced that the Denizkurdu-I/2026 exercise will take place on September 20–25 with 100 ships, 50 aircraft, and 14,000 personnel. According to an announcement by the Naval Forces Command, the exercise will be conducted simultaneously in the Black Sea, Marmara, Aegean, and Eastern Mediterranean.

According to the Naval Forces Command announcement, land, air, and Coast Guard elements will also participate in the exercise. Distinguished Observer Day activities will be held on September 24 on TCG Anadolu in the Eastern Mediterranean. It will be conducted simultaneously in all four seas of the Blue Homeland.
