Trade Minister Ömer Bolat discussed cooperation in space and defense, energy, telecommunications and critical raw materials with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, and stressed the importance of updating the Customs Union.
Mutual investments and joint cooperation in third countries were discussed in the meeting. Bolat stressed the importance of updating the Customs Union, which he described as a cornerstone of Türkiye-EU relations, and expanding it to cover digital trade and services.
