ÖSYM ruled on September 15 that 392 candidates would take an equivalent exam after detecting practices in violation of regulations in 22 of 150 halls at the KPSS session in Şanlıurfa. A new exam date has not yet been announced.
The investigation began after access to the campus was reduced to a single lane on exam morning and the exam was delayed by 30 minutes following a traffic accident. Camera footage and records revealed irregularities in 22 of the 150 halls. Affected candidates will be re-examined under the board's decision dated 15 September.
