CHP spokesperson Müslim Sarı said the appeal filed with the Court of Cassation (Yargıtay) in the absolute nullity case had been withdrawn, and that other plaintiffs had also dropped their cases, meaning no legal obstacle remained before the congress. The ruling is expected to become final within 1 to 1.5 months.
Sarı added that the main plaintiff CHP's withdrawal did not create an appeal condition for the requests for intervention. He said these discussions were futile. He also denied allegations that talks were held with the Innovation Party.
