Cargo shipments reach 728.31 million in first half

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu reported that cargo shipments rose 5% in the first 6 months of 2026 to 728.31 million. 82% of shipments weighed 2 kilograms or less, and more than 83% were transported between cities.

Fund outflows reached $4 billion in two weeks, money went to lira deposits

According to Goldman Sachs, $1.8 billion left money market funds in the week ending September 11; in the first two weeks of September, the decline reached $4 billion. Lira deposits increased by $12 billion, with a monthly rise of approximately $20 billion.
