Statement issued regarding black smoke rising from factory in Dilovası

Black smoke rising from the chimney of the Turkuaz Polyester factory in Kocaeli's Dilovası district drew reactions. The company stated the smoke stemmed from a technical malfunction and inspections showed no environmental damage.

School building of Kahramanmaraş attack to become district education directorate

The 15-classroom building of Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Onikişubat will serve as the District Directorate of National Education by decision of the Kahramanmaraş Governorship. In the armed attack on April 15, one teacher and nine students were killed and 15 students were injured; students continue their education at another school.

Minister Tekin: Mid-term breaks may be removed in years when calendar does not fit

Ministry: 15 public beaches opened for free use in two years

Shooting investigation across 4 provinces centered in Tekirdağ: 8 arrests

In operations coordinated by the Tekirdağ Chief Public Prosecutor's Office across Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Ankara, and Bursa, 22 suspects allegedly linked to shootings at businesses and residences were detained; 8 were arrested, and 14 were released under judicial control. Attack on female driver over honking horn captured on camera in Şişli

One of two children dies after falling into culvert water in Giresun
