Magnitude 5.0 earthquake strikes Saimbeyli district of Adana

A magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers in the Saimbeyli district of Adana at 04:02. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported no adverse situations following the tremor, which was also felt in surrounding provinces.

The tremor was felt in Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Kayseri, Gaziantep, and Niğde, as well as Adana. AFAD announced that field scanning efforts continue and that there is no negative situation at the moment. Adana Governor Mustafa Yavuz stated that no negative reports were received.
