Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç said that Türkiye must develop its own models and data center infrastructure for artificial intelligence independence.
Avdagiç warned that the AGI stage of models could be tied to new barriers similar to customs tariffs for countries to use. He emphasized that Türkiye needs both to develop superior models and to establish the data center infrastructure to run them.
