In an analysis for Anadolu Agency, Chief Presidential Advisor and Deputy Chair of the Legal Policies Board Mehmet Uçum argued that a new constitution is "inevitable"; without ruling out the 28th term, he pointed to the 29th Legislative Term after the 2028 elections as a more realistic target.
Uçum claimed that 103 of the 154 articles of the 1982 Constitution carry the spirit of the coup. He showed the Presidential Government System and the Terror-Free Türkiye process as milestones of this goal.

In an investigation by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into a criminal organization reportedly led by Alihan Kuriş, detention warrants were issued for 29 or 30 people after evidence of off-the-books money transfers was obtained, and trustees were appointed to 23 companies.
