The Defence Ministry announced that personnel of the 1st Airborne and Commando Brigade in Kayseri conducted a tactical movement from Zincidere to Mount Erciyes together with visiting Somali military personnel. Ambush, cave search and "Uçangöz" exercises were held at Tekir Plateau.
The units set up camp in Tekir Yaylası. During the exercises, a commando unit climbed to the summit of Erciyes for route reconnaissance. The ministry's post also included footage of the movement and the Commando Oath.
