Published in the Official Gazette under a circular signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the five-year plan prepared under the coordination of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change includes 4 strategic goals, 8 targets, 32 actions and 297 implementation steps. Minister Murat Kurum stated the plan would make citizens' lives easier.
In the new period, following the 2020-2023 term, the plan will focus on artificial intelligence, big data, the internet of things, and digital twin technologies. It is aimed to make citizens' lives easier in many areas, especially municipal services, traffic, and waste management. The roadmap will be published at akillisehirler.csb.gov.tr.
