Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced an operation against a network allegedly defrauding foreign nationals through call centers.
In the operation, raids were conducted on 42 call centers and a finance office. It was determined that the network reached a transaction volume of 13 billion lira in two years and obtained more than $3 billion in illicit gains from victims. The Justice Ministry announced that assets worth 1.5 billion lira were seized.
