The Trabzon Governor's Office reported that rainfall reached about 50 kilograms per square meter in some parts of the city, that 114 calls were received by the 112 Emergency Call Center, and that 533 personnel were deployed. The Meteorology authority issued a yellow-code warning for Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin for September 19.
Due to the rain, water accumulations formed in Pelitli, Havalimanı, Değirmendere and Çömlekçi areas, and some vehicles were stranded on the roads. Power outages occurred in the high-altitude neighborhoods of the city.
