127,410 homes were sold across Türkiye in August; secondhand sales dropped 19.4% and first-hand sales fell 4.5%. Mortgaged sales rose 7.2% while the Housing Price Index climbed 23% year-on-year.
In the January-August period, sales fell 6.8 percent year-on-year to 950,529. In August, 1,938 homes were sold to foreigners. The Housing Price Index rose 0.9 percent monthly and 23 percent annually in August.
