According to security sources, İbrahim Kalın met with Afghan General Directorate of Intelligence chief Abdul Haq Wasiq; in meetings with Deputy Prime Minister Baradar, Defence Minister Yaqoob Mujahid and Interior Minister Haqqani, security and intelligence cooperation and the fight against drug and human trafficking were discussed.
The talks covered regional and global developments, especially the US-Israel-Iran war. Kalın also discussed steps to deepen cooperation in counterterrorism and in the fight against human trafficking and drug trafficking.
