Minister Ersoy visited Kahramanmaraş Castle, damaged in the February 6 earthquakes, and reopened 5 mosques for worship after restoration. The ministry has so far spent over 12.2 billion lira (TL) across the 11 earthquake-affected provinces, with total investment expected to reach 34 billion lira.
The minister reported that 79 works were completed in 11 provinces during the 2023-2026 period, with 17 ongoing. The General Directorate of Foundations' budget reached 22 billion lira. The total investment for cultural heritage in the earthquake zone is projected to reach approximately 34 billion lira.
