CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced that 122 of 416 municipal mayors stayed with the party, and that those who resigned dispersed to the AKP, the YENİ Party and independents.
Sarı stated that 2,453 of 6,517 elected municipal council members remained, and 790,000 members resigned from the party. Sarı, who argued that the congress process continues in line with the calendar, announced the data to journalists at the headquarters.
