The Grand National Assembly will begin the new legislative year on 1 October. The first agenda in the General Assembly is the 9-article proposal regarding Kızılay; the 13th Judicial Package envisages the abolition of indefinite alimony.
The Kızılay proposal will provide a legal basis for preventing diseases during disasters and wars. The alimony package, on the other hand, foresees paying for half of the period until the date the divorce case was filed. The court may also rule for longer-term alimony for women who are unable to work.
