DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan said in a meeting with Alevi institutions in Ankara that the peace process is important for 86 million people, his party aspires to govern the country, and they will not give their approval as long as Alevis are not equal.
The co-chairs of the DEM Party met with representatives of Alevi institutions at a hotel in Ankara. Bakırhan stated that the peace process is a common process for 86 million people, and that not only Kurds are at the table. The Alevi Bektashi Federation announced it would meet with all parties that have groups in the parliament.
