Speaking at the AKP provincial organization in Adana, Gürlek said "an election will be held in 2028 to re-elect our President." In remarks at the MHP provincial headquarters, he said that for the law to take effect, the organization must be dissolved and weapons laid down.
Gürlek said the second phase of the law, passed with the support of 467 deputies, would begin and would come into force after the MGK approved the dissolution of the organization. At the MHP visit, he described the People's Alliance as 'the common yeast of Türkiye' and emphasized Bahçeli's role in the process. He also said operations against street gangs were carried out in Adana.
