A fire broke out at a cold storage facility in the Karaköy neighborhood, with numerous fire crews responding; smoke was seen from many points in the district. According to one source, the facility processed black figs for export.
It was learned that Bursa's famous black figs destined for export were being processed in the warehouse. Many fire trucks affiliated with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality are fighting the flames. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
