YENİ Party Chairman Özgür Özel visited Mustafa Bozbey at Bursa H-Type Prison. Özel said Bozbey was elected in the local elections with a margin of more than 160,000 votes, and that the composition of the municipal council played a role in his removal from office.
In a statement after prayers, Özel argued that his party received 60,000 more votes than the AK Party in the municipal council. Özel claimed that the district distribution affected the number of members in the council and that this situation played a role in the suspension process.
